Senior Parts Advisor - Ashburton Toyota

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automotive Parts Advisor to join our Parts team. Ashburton Toyota represents the Mid-Canterbury area for Toyota and is part of the McDermid Auto Collective, one of the South Island's leading family-owned automotive groups.

We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused, experienced Parts Advisor to join our operations. This is your chance to combine your knowledge, strategy, and customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with opportunities to learn and grow. 

What You’ll Do 

· Deal with all aspects of the Parts Department 

· Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers 

· Maintain high parts availability and deliver exceptional customer service 

· Represent and promote our brand and products 

· Supporting stock takes 

Do you have?

· Extensive experience in automotive parts operations (a must)

· A customer-first mindset with excellent problem-solving skills 

· In-depth knowledge of trade and retail parts markets 

· Great communication skills both in person, by phone and online

· Strong computer literacy skills

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting maintaining a high degree of accuracy

· Ability to pick, pack and dispatch orders efficiently

· Current NZ residency and valid work visa
