Senior Parts Advisor

Based in Nelson, Bowater Toyota are on the hunt for a Senior Parts Advisor to join their friendly team.  As an integral member of their parts team this role will see you primarily responsible for promoting and selling genuine and non-genuine Toyota parts.  The position will involve retail sales, trade sales and merchandising - so our ideal candidate will have previous experience in sales or merchandising along with a confident and friendly manner.  

We believe that an EXCELLENT attitude and a desire to learn is the key to being successful in this role. We provide extensive training so previous automotive experience is not essential - however the successful candidate will need a genuine love of the automotive industry.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Accurately identifying customer part requirements
• Ordering and invoicing parts at the correct price
• Advising and delivering stock lines to customers (internal and      external)
• Ensuring that our customers experience is maximised

To be successful in this role you will need:

• A genuine love of the automotive industry
• Proven customer relationship skills
• A willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• To be computer savvy
• A full driver’s licence
