Service Manager

Manawatu & TRC Toyota is looking for our next Service Manager in Whanganui.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Technician, Workshop Foreman or current Service Manager who is ready to lead a focused service department within one of New Zealand's progressive Toyota groups.

You'll take the reins of an established team of skilled technicians, apprentices, and service advisors supported by a strong leadership team and the country's number one vehicle brand.

What you'll bring

• Strong automotive technical knowledge
• Experience as a Senior Technician, Foreman or Service Manager
• Proven leadership and people skills
• Strong commercial awareness and a focus on results
• A passion for developing others and delivering exceptional customer experiences

The role

• Maximising the day so it is well organised, productive and efficient 
• Effectively managing our booking and job allocation systems
• Clear and timely communication with our front-line service advisors, our customers and of course our technicians 
• Ensuring our apprentices and techs are getting the training and support they need to continue to develop and grow their skillsets
• Positive, 'one team' interactions with our Parts and Sales teams
• Being dedicated to ensuring our customers have an exceptional experience each time they visit us
• Accountability for the Service department budgets, profits and KPI's
• Motivation, support, positivity and getting the job done - it's simple really!
