Vehicle Sales Consultant

 Taupo Toyota, part of the award-winning Hawkes Bay Toyota Group, is offering a rare opportunity to join our expanding Used Vehicle Sales team.

As we continue to invest in the future of Taupo Toyota, we have exciting plans underway for a brand-new showroom and upgraded facilities, creating a fresh, modern environment for both our team and customers, alongside our near-complete, state-of-the-art workshop.

Used vehicle sales is a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be helping customers find the right vehicle for their needs and budget, supported by a wide and constantly changing stock range.

You’ll also be backed by Toyota, New Zealand’s most trusted automotive brand, and a supportive team that’s focused on helping each other succeed.

What the role looks like:

As a Used Vehicle Sales Consultant, you’ll be:

• Working with customers to match them with the right used vehicle 
• Managing enquiries from first contact through to handover 
• Building real relationships — not scripted 
• Keeping up to date with constantly changing stock 
• Working towards individual and team targets in a fast-paced environment 

This is a role for someone who enjoys momentum, variety, and people interaction.

Sales experience is helpful, but absolutely not essential.  If you can connect with people, we can teach you the rest.
